Senior Accountant

The Animal Protective Foundation is seeking a great

Senior Accountant (SA) to join its team.

The SA reports to the Executive Director and plays a key

role in the organization by preparing

and reviewing financial statements and budgets,

coordinating accounting tasks, preparing board

reports, coordinating audits and process improvement.

Successful candidates will be proficient

with Quickbooks, MS Excel and Word. Experience in a

not-for profit organization preferred.

Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in

Accounting with 5+ years of

accounting experience. Excellent communication, time

management, planning and problem

solving skills required. A passion for companion animals is

essential. This is a part-time,

approximately 35 hour per week position. Applications will

Part-Time Animal and Client Care Specialist

The APF is seeking compassionate and energetic

individuals for our part-time Animal and Client

Care Specialist (ACCS) position! The ACCS provides

care, attention and positive living

environments for the dogs, cats and small mammals

residing in our shelter and assist in vital

operations such as client communications, completing

intakes and adoptions and other client

services. The successful candidate will be ready to jump in

to help with morning animal care,

dog walking, socialization and enrichment of pets, greeting

and counseling clients among other

duties! Individuals must be able to work well as part of a

team and have the ability to take

initiative to complete tasks independently. The APF is very

proud of the standards of care and

excellent customer service upheld by the Animal Welfare

Team – this position will be vital in

continuing this great work. The animals need care each

day of the week, so weekend and

holiday hours are required. We hope to hear from you

soon! High School diploma and animal

handling experience required. Customer service

experience preferred. Weekend and holiday

hours required. This position is part time (approximately

36 hours a week). A background check
