Graduate Digital Marketing & Recruiting Intern

The Enrollment Management & Student Recruitment department at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for the position of Graduate Digital Marketing & Recruiting Intern. The Intern’s role on the Graduate Digital Marketing & Recruiting team will be to create digital content for use in marketing activities and assist with social media campaigns designed to generate quality leads that will result in graduate enrollment. The position is based in Schenectady, New York, the recruiting and admissions hub for Clarkson’s graduate programs. Moderate travel to Clarkson’s NY locations may be required.

The Intern will also:
• Assist in creating and curating digital content such as tip sheets, graduate & student profiles/interviews (written and video), articles and guest content for use on the website and various email and social channels; conducting research and interviews with students, alumni and faculty as needed to create content.
• Develop engaging visual presentation for content as appropriate – ie, video, Slideshare, PowerPoint Mix, infographics.
• Assist in building the graduate school’s presence on social media by working with digital marketing & recruiting and marketing & external relations to post and share content regularly.
• Assist with social media advertising campaign creation and management.
• Assist with event planning and execution.

Minimum qualifications include Some College/Associate’s Degree is required.
Minimal Experience: 0-2 years of experience of the following is preferred to perform this positions essential functions:

• Experience with social media platforms.
• Experience creating and curating content for digital formats.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
