Clarkson University Capital Region Campus in Schenectady New York invites applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Professor and Director of MA TESOL Program. Clarkson University seeks an inaugural, growth-oriented Director for its new Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages program (MATESOL). The position will include both administrative oversight as well as teaching responsibilities, reporting to the Chair of the Department of Education. Expectations are strong that this Director will lead the program to the same success as has been achieved by the national award winning Master of Arts in Teaching Program. The successful candidate
will also either assume a clinical teaching position or a tenure-track position depending on experience, qualifications, or career goals.

Minimum qualifications include PhD or other terminal degree in Education or related field, 6+ years of experience in the field of TESOL, evidence of scholarly promise and 3+ years of k-12 teaching experience. Review of applications will begin immediately and continues until the position is filled.
