Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment

Clarkson University Capital Region Campus in Schenectady New York invites applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Graduate Recruitment as part of a cross-trained, proactive recruitment team, the Assistant Director will effectively develop and utilize recruitment strategies; manage prescribed recruitment territories for the graduate school; prioritize recruitment goals and complete projects as changing strategies dictate; effectively use data to inform and assess priorities and goals. This position will have responsibility for application oversight for the Graduate School programs. This includes recruiting prospective students, nurturing inquiries, coordinating the application process; attending recruitment fairs and events; and
actively managing a personal contact campaign via multiple mediums to assure exceptional service. The position requires evening and weekend work, flexible hours and travel.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors’ Degree and at least of 3 years’ experience in a college admissions/enrollment/recruiting role with demonstrated competence.
